FlyMeNow's private jet charter comes to the rescue of Red Hot Chilli Pipers!
05-Sep-2008

York based private jet provider FlyMeNow.co.uk has come to the rescue of a top music act that will headline a BBC 1 show tomorrow night. The Scotland based Red Hot Chilli Pipers, winner of the hit BBC1 Show "When Will I Be Famous" earlier this year, have been asked to appear on the Eurovision Dance Contest 2008 in Glasgow. However they already had a pre-booked gig in Ireland on the same night so turned to FlyMeNow.co.uk to solve the problem.

FlyMeNow.co.uk were able to arrange transport and a private jet so that the band can perform on the BBC 1 show, then fly to Belfast and be on stage by 10:30pm in Belfast, less than two hours after coming off the BBC stage, and not disappoint their loyal fans.

Andrew Whitney, Commercial Director of FlyMeNow.co.uk explained:"We pride ourselves in finding solutions to the trickiest of our clients' needs.  The Red Hot Chilli Pipers had been recommended to us and we pulled out all the stops to ensure they could play both gigs and not disappoint anyone.

"One of the unique advantages of using FlyMeNow is that we can make the seemingly impossible travel schedules possible through our extensive industry links and a bit of quick thinking."

FlyMeNow.co.uk has a history of success in the entertainment industry, most notably arranging the private travel for Bon Jovi's South American tour last year.

In 2004 the Red Hot Chilli Pipers appeared on the main stage at T in the Park with the headline band, rock group The Darkness and a track from the new Red Hot Chilli Pipers CD was recently played on Radio One. The band features Stuart Cassells the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2005, a twice world champion snare drummer and with three of the band members being recent graduates from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the musicianship is first class.

HRH The Princess Royal, Ewan McGregor, Phil Collins and The Darkness are known to be big fans of the band.

Flymenow.co.uk operates from a North Yorkshire base and arranges bespoke private travel all over the world.
